Apex Trader Funding Evaluation

Apex's end-of-day trailing evaluation: how the drawdown differs from the intraday version, the daily loss limit that comes with it, and the fastest legal way to pass.

Overview

This is the same evaluation as Apex's flagship product with one mechanic swapped: the trailing threshold is recalculated once, on your closing balance, instead of following your equity tick by tick. That single change removes the failure mode that ends most Apex accounts — giving back unrealised profit and discovering your stop-out moved. The trade is a daily loss limit, which the intraday product does not have. You gain a forgiving drawdown and accept a hard daily circuit breaker.

The rules that decide whether you pass

Consistency rule

None during the evaluation. As with the intraday product, consistency is a funded-payout requirement, not an evaluation one.

Fastest legal pass

One day. No consistency rule and no minimum trading day. The daily loss limit does not slow a winning day down — it only caps how badly a losing one can end.

Who this account is for

A good fit if…

  • Traders who hold winners and want intraday retracement to be free
  • Anyone who has blown an Apex account while still showing a profit
  • Traders who want a hard daily stop enforced for them

Look elsewhere if…

  • Traders whose strategy needs room to recover inside a session — the daily loss limit closes that door
  • Anyone who would rather have no daily limit at all and can control unrealised give-back

How fast could you pass this?

The calculator applies these exact rules, shows your minimum days, the points and ticks you need per market, and — if you know your win rate — the odds you actually make it.

Questions traders actually ask

Is Apex EOD easier than intraday trailing?

For most traders, yes. An end-of-day trailing drawdown is recalculated once at the close using your realised balance, so intraday swings and open-trade profit never move the line. The offset is a daily loss limit, which the intraday product does not impose.

Does the EOD version still pass in one day?

Yes. Neither Apex evaluation has a consistency rule or a minimum trading day, so a single session that reaches the profit target completes it.
