Tradeify Growth vs Select — Daily Loss Limit or Not
Tradeify Growth passes in one trading day — no consistency rule, no minimum day count — but carries a soft daily loss limit. Tradeify Select takes three days because of a 40% consistency rule, and has no daily loss limit at any size. That is the whole decision.
Most traders pick Growth for the speed and then discover the daily limit is what actually ends their run.
By the end of this you will know which one fits how you trade, plus a drawdown detail that is easy to get backwards.
Figures verified against Tradeify's own documentation on 8 August 2026.
The drawdown detail people get backwards
Growth has a larger maximum drawdown than Select on the 100K and 150K accounts, not a smaller one.
| Account | Growth max loss | Select max loss |
|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,000 | $1,000 |
| 50K | $2,000 | $2,000 |
| 100K | $3,500 | $3,000 |
| 150K | $5,000 | $4,500 |
The instinct is that the fast, permissive plan must be the tighter one. It is not. Growth gives you $500 more room at the top two sizes — it just also gives you a daily loss limit that can stop your session before you use it.
This is worth checking on any comparison table you read, because the two plans are routinely shown with a single drawdown column.
Tradeify rules: the trade you are actually making
| Growth | Select | |
|---|---|---|
| Consistency in evaluation | None | 40% of total profit |
| Minimum days | 1 | 3 |
| Daily loss limit | Yes — soft | None at any size |
| 50K daily limit | $1,250 | — |
| 150K daily limit | $3,750 | — |
| Consistency once funded | Applies | None |
Growth's daily loss limit is soft — hitting it stops your trading day rather than failing the account. That is genuinely gentler than a hard breach, but it still ends the session. If your edge involves recovering from a bad morning, Growth structurally cannot let you.
The Select detail that is worth two extra days
Select's 40% consistency rule applies during the evaluation only. Once funded, there is no consistency requirement at all.
That is the reverse of how nearly every competitor structures it. Apex, Top One and Tradeify's own Growth plan all run loose evaluations and then apply consistency to payouts — you pass quickly, then find the rule waiting when you try to withdraw.
Select makes you prove consistency to get in, then leaves you alone. For a trader whose profit is lumpy — one strong session a week, several flat ones — that is worth far more than a fast pass. The evaluation costs you two extra days once. A payout consistency rule costs you on every withdrawal, forever.
Passing Select also lets you choose your payout policy: Flex, with a five-day cycle and larger caps, or Daily.
Worked example — 50K
Growth: target $3,000, drawdown $2,000, daily limit $1,250, four minis. One session at $3,000 passes. But note the daily limit is $1,250 against a $2,000 drawdown — you cannot lose more than 62% of your room in one day, which is protective if you tilt and restrictive if you scale in.
Select: target $3,000, drawdown $2,000, no daily limit, four minis. Three days of $1,000 + $1,000 + $1,000 — each 33% of the total, inside the 40% cap. Two days would be 50% each and breach it. The entire $2,000 is available in any single session.

Growth: traders who want a one-session pass, take a single clip rather than scaling, and benefit from an enforced daily stop.
Select: traders who need room to recover inside a session, and anyone who intends to post large single days once funded — where Select applies no consistency rule at all.
Who should look elsewhere
- Traders who tilt and want no daily stop — Select gives you enough rope
- Anyone needing a one-day pass on a 100K or 150K with no daily limit; that combination does not exist here
- Traders who want Growth's larger drawdown without its daily limit
Frequently asked
Does Tradeify Growth have a daily loss limit?
Yes, a soft one — hitting it stops your trading day rather than failing the account. It ranges from $600 on the 25K to $3,750 on the 150K. Tradeify Select has no daily loss limit at any account size.
Does Tradeify's consistency rule apply after you pass?
Not on Select. The 40% consistency rule applies during the evaluation phase only; the funded Select account has no consistency requirement. This is the reverse of how most futures prop firms structure it.
Which Tradeify plan is faster, Growth or Select?
Growth, at one trading day — it has no consistency rule and no minimum day count. Select requires three days because its 40% consistency rule means no single day may exceed 40% of total profit.
